Classy and Fabulous... An Evaluation Edition

It has been quite the journey honestly from that first post declaring my new goal to try my best to be classy and fabulous to now... week after week...

It hasn't been easy by any means. Some days I completely and utterly fail. Some days though, I get all ready, dressed, makeup done, hair did, and I never even leave my house. Those are the days when I realize that it is all worth it. I feel better, I get more accomplished, I'm in a better state of mind and all of that is reflected on my children. They are happier because Mom is happier.

As I sit and reflect on where I was at the beginning of this quest, I have come to realize many things I have discovered about myself.

raglan: bark decor, jeans: h&m, shoes: blowfish, sunglasses: ray ban, watch: michael kors

One that stands out the most to me is my confidence. By trying my best to be classy and fabulous each day, I have come to know myself and my personal style better than I ever have before. That in and of itself has helped me to become more confident and happy with who I am and what I like. I have been able to overcome so many of those insecurities that I have struggled with for years.

It is really amazing actually. I feel that I am more confident and happier with myself now than ever before. Even after having two children and adopting the mother role, I feel like I am a stronger, more confident, more secure, happier woman.

Maybe that really and truly is what being classy and fabulous is all about...

BIG thank you to Lauren once again for the absolutely amazing photos this week!!!!! She is so super talented and wonderful you should go and be her friend. Seriously... she made an adorable little Valentine's video!

  5. Have you ever considered cutting your bangs and straightening them and leaving the rest of your hair curly? I keep thinking you would look super cute with bangs! Just a thought!

  9. Hey Thanks so much for you comment. I'm so glad you did and the fact that we have so many similar things going on right now makes me want to get to know you more! Totally know what you mean about getting dressed each day. I know when I don't try or get myself ready I am less motivated and like you said my kids are affected. Love this post!

  10. Look at you all growing up and stuff!!
    I KID!!!
but really, it's good to embrace who you are and to not be insecure about it at the same time.

I, on the other hand, have the fashion sense of jeans/t-shirt to yoga pants and whatever is more comfortable with less holes in it!!
