With about a month left in our wonderful home here on the east coast I told my husband that there are somethings that we absolutely MUST do before we move! We've been here far too long with out doing so many of the things that I've wanted to do. Plus there are so many things I want to do just one more time...
I've compiled this list so far...
I've compiled this list so far...
...Camden Adventure Aquarium... (hopefully we'll go Friday!)
...Ocean City Boardwalk...
...US Mint in Philadelphia...
...Cape May Zoo...
...Air and Space Museum...
...Vesuvios (for their Shrimp Fra Diablo)...
...Shopping in Philadelphia (one more time!)...
...South Street...
...New York...
(Empire State Building... I've been to New York so many times and yet never to the Empire State Building)
What do you think of our list so far? If you have a must-do along the east coast, let me know! I would love to hear your suggestions and add to my list. I think I'm going to try and cram as many fun things into the next month as physically possible!

Well I can check one off your list... the US Mint in Philly isn't great. I thought there would be a cool tour and lots of cool things, but it was a self-led walk-through of the building and you can hardly see anything except big equipment. It wasn't worth it for us. Just FYI. :)
ReplyDeleteOh that doesn't sound very exciting at all actually. Maybe we won't keep that one on the list. Thanks for the tip!
DeleteHave you been to the Rodin Museum in Philly? I like that. I like the Philly and Baltimore zoos best on the East Coast. Might check out the spy Museum in DC. U. Matt really wants to go. Ah, try as you might, there's just too much to do. Thank goodness family is there so you'll be sure to be back. PS I can't get back there w/o craving Di Paulos in Pennsgrove! AND doughnuts at Moods. How I miss the East Coast.
ReplyDeleteOooh the Rodin Museum... that's a good one. I was hoping you would have some suggestions! I won't lie... I love all your suggestions... doughnuts from Moods, my favorite!! They are having an Apple Festival this weekend I wish we could go to.
Deletei second the rodin museum, and also the newly reopened barnes foundation in philly has a pretty amazing collection. if you're going to DC for the air and space museum, you should go to the national gallery of art too. it's incredible! i looooved it.
