Before little girl was born, I told myself I was going to send birth announcements. (Remember I even shared some of my inspiration announcements?) I didn't send them with Christopher and it was something I wish that I could have done. I don't really know if I wanted to send them for the people I was sharing them with or really for myself. But I was going to do it! I didn't make many and really only sent them to a few people but I did it!
So before she was born, I planned them all out, designed them, ordered all the materials, had everything ready. I knew it was going to be the only way I was going to be able to get them made. All I needed was a beautiful newborn picture and the details of her birth after she was born.
I used a beautiful pack of scrapbook paper, cut down to 4x6 with a 3x3 printed square with the details of Mikah's birth. I found a fabulous new font to use for her name that I am completely in love with. I am pretty sure I am going to find every occasion possible to use it again! The information squares were attached then embellished with washi tape (you know I couldn't have made something with out it these days!)
I loved making them! I won't lie...
probably because I used some of my very favorite materials! Each
announcement is a little different, but they all go together, which is
one of my favorite parts. I loved them so much I think I went through all of them choosing my favorites like a gazillion times.
So... what do you think? Do you love them as much as I did??
I wish I could make more! Anyone need some announcements or invitations made??
