July Calendar... How I Love Getting Organized...

I have been in the market for quite awhile looking for an inexpensive (or free!), simple calendar, that had a little spunk but not too much for me to use... well I couldn't quite find one that I absolutely loved... I won't lie. So I made one!

I have a thing for magazine letters. I love that ransom note look, you know the look... when none of the letters match and they're all different sizes and colors? Love it!!! So I headed to my little stash of magazine letters (yes I cut them out when I find awesome letters... or just for fun...) and spelled out July then drew a calendar and hand wrote all the numbers and days of the week. Simple right??

I used that wonderful Washi tape I have to mark the all day or multi day events and started writing all my different commitments in with all my colored Sharpies... I'm so in love with my new little calendar!!!

I might just sit and look at it every once in awhile just because it makes me smile... is that terrible?? I just love all the colors and patterns from the magazine letters and the Washi tape... and the best part is it is only going to get better as I fill it in throughout the month!!
