I have come to realize that I am all about recording life... all the details and happenings of everyday life. I want to be able to remember it all and be able to tell my children about it years and years from now. What could be more important right? I realized this when I started thinking about the past six books that I recently purchased...
They're wonderful books all perfect for recording our lives... all the details and everyday happenings in their own different special way.
I am so excited about these! Seriously... let me tell you about them...
Book 1: Q&A a Day: Five Year Journal is a journal where each day of the year you answer a question. There are five different spaces for each day, so you answer the same question five years in a row. At the end you are able to compare your answers from the past five years for each question. Sounds soul searching to me... probably why I love it!
Book 2: One Line a Day: A Five Year Memory Book is a book where you right one simple line about the happenings or thoughts for that day. Each day has five spaces so at the end you are able to compare the past five years one day at a time!
Book 3: My Quotable Kid is a sweet little book that is perfect for recording those one liners or stories your kids say the moment they happen all together for posterity's sake! I am so excited for my kids to start talking simply to use this one!
Book 4: Listography: Your Life in Lists is kind of a funny book where you list out your firsts and favorites and likes and dislikes all in one book! I gave this one to my husband this year for Christmas... I really hope he uses it!
Book 5: Pregnancy Planner is a book I'm kind of excited for. When I was pregnant with my first for some reason I didn't feel the need to record all the details of my pregnancy. Now that I'm pregnant again though I am wishing I would have kept better track... I wish I had a record of how I was feeling and different milestones...
Book 6: Smash Folio Journal is a sweet scrap booking journal that I picked up at Micheal's last time I was there... It's so pretty I am a little scared to use it! Don't you hate when that happens?! Don't worry though... I most definitely will...

ReplyDeleteWhere did you get these from?
ReplyDeleteThe books were purchased at a number of different stores actually... The Q&A book is from Anthropologie, the Smash Folio Journal from Micheal's Craft Store, the rest were from a few different boutique stores around my home. They are all available on amazon.com though. All the titles in the post are linked to Amazon.com.
